Well, my husband and I always like to take it to the extreme with gifts and special days…But this Valentine’s day was a lil’ different. Everyone enjoys a good meal, huh? Everyone enjoys a good steak here and there too…am I right? Well of course you know we love Ruth’s Chris! You can get the best steak you have ever tasted at this ritzy restaurant. And the pricing…well, let’s say…if you made $300 dollars a week…you might be short a cable and electric bill for the month…But the meal is fabulous! Trust me…I know food…We ususally spend about $125 for this dining experience, but it is worth it. Let me tell you how we went out for our romantic dinner one evening…My husband wore a beautiful black on black ensemble…Slacks and dress shirt, and I the same, but with a black dress and Leopard pony hair, peep toe pumps (The dress was an expensive flowing version of a dream…not a Rainbow, Charolette Russe type…sorry) but anyways…after we dined, drank and talked…we were ready to go home, but still had food left. Our waitress took our plates to the back for wrapping. It took a while, but we didn’t mind because of the mood we were in…A waiter appears from the kitchen apologizing for the waitress’ mistake…of course we were clueless…She dropped our food!!! What!!??    ”We apologize for the mishap and took the courtesy of preparing two more T-Bone steaks for you.”  Oh…ok…those steaks were $38 a piece…so of course!  But anyways…enough about us…Fellas…It’s a special day…we do loved to be wined and dined…make it special…make he evening at home remarkable as well…candles lit all over the place (Be careful, especially if you are a novice to love making), bubble bath…and a soothing love song playing in the background…I love Raheem Devaughn’s “You”… that is my favorite song! Ladies…slow down on  the perfume and drag queen make up. Get yourself down to the local mall and sit at the M.A.C pronto…let the professionals handle that!
