CHICAGO - R. Kelly was acquitted of all charges Friday after less than a day of deliberations in his child pornography trial, ending a six-year ordeal for the R&B superstar.

Kelly dabbed his face with a handkerchief and hugged each of his four attorneys after the verdict — not guilty on all 14 counts — was read. The Grammy award-winning singer had faced 15 years in prison if convicted.

Minutes later, surrounded by bodyguards, he left the courthouse without comment. Dozens of fans screamed and cheered as he climbed into a waiting SUV.

Prosecutors had argued that a video tape mailed to the Chicago Sun-Times in 2002 showed Kelly engaged in graphic sex acts with a girl as young as 13 at the time. Both Kelly, 41, and the now 23-year-old alleged victim had denied they were the ones on the tape. Neither testified during the trial.

The prosecution’s star witness was a woman who said she engaged in three-way sex with Kelly and the alleged victim. Defense attorneys argued the man on the tape didn’t have a large mole on his back; Kelly has such a mole.

The monthlong trial centered on whether Kelly was the man who appears on a sexually graphic, 27-minute videotape at the heart of the case, and whether a female who also appears on it was underage.

Over seven days presenting their case, prosecutors called 22 witnesses, including several childhood friends of the alleged victim and four of her relatives who identified her as the female on the video.

In just two days, Kelly’s lawyers called 12 witnesses. They included three relatives of the alleged victim who testified they did not recognize her as the female on the tape.

Kelly won a Grammy in 1997 for “I Believe I Can Fly,” and is known for such raunchy hits as “Bump N’ Grind,” “Ignition,” and for “Trapped in the Closet,” a multipart saga about the sexual secrets of an ever-expanding cast of characters.

Of the 12 jurors, nine were men and three were women; eight were white and four were black. They included the wife of a Baptist preacher from Kelly’s Chicago-area hometown, Olympia Fields, as well as a compliance officer for a Chicago investment firm and a man in his 60s who emigrated from then-Communist Romania nearly 40 years ago.

Despite his legal troubles, Kelly — who rose from poverty on Chicago’s South Side to become a star singer, songwriter and producer — still retains a huge following, and his popularity has arguably grown in recent years.

The singer has released more than half a dozen albums, most of them selling over a million copies. He’s also had a multitude of hits and gone on tours. Kelly has a new song, “Hair Braider,” out now, and is due to release a new album in July.

Kelly, always meticulously dressed in a suit and tie, appeared tense at times during the trial, furrowing his brow. He seemed particularly ill at ease when prosecutors played the sex tape in open court after opening arguments.

In the video, entered into evidence as “People’s Exhibit No. 1,” a man has sex with a young female, who is naked for most of the recording. She is often blank-faced. The man speaks to her in a hushed voice, and she calls him “Daddy.”

In one scene, alluded to in one count of the indictment, the man urinates on the female.

The issue of whether there was or wasn’t a fingernail-sized mole on the man’s lower was a subject of hours of testimony. A defense witness told jurors there was no mole on his back, proving it’s not Kelly, who has such a mole. But a prosecution witness displayed freeze frames of the video where a dark spot seemed to appear as the man turns to take off his pants.

One surreal moment came when a defense expert played a segment of the tape he doctored showing two headless bodies engaging in sex. The defense said that backed their argument that Kelly’s likeness could have been computer-generated.

Cross examination was often heated. Several witnesses cried on the stand.

The star prosecution witness, Lisa Van Allen, became teary eyed as she told jurors she engaged in several three-way sexual encounters with Kelly and the alleged victim, including once on a basketball court. Kelly videotaped the trysts, she said.

Van Allen also claimed Kelly used to carry a duffel bag stuffed full of his homemade sex tapes.

The defense called several witnesses in a bid to discredit Van Allen, accusing her of trying to extort money from Kelly. Under cross-examination, Van Allen admitted she once stole Kelly’s $20,000 diamond-studded watch from a hotel.

There are many variations of the “Sex Face” but a few have caught me…Like a lot of the youth today, I’ve experienced my first time as a late teen and have regretted it for years because of my lack of knowlegde. I was obviously inexperienced, and apparently he…But he led me to believe that since he was 18 he was a pro. It wasn’t painful or beautiful…more or less a sweaty, senseless and disgusting two minutes I’ve ever experienced. Now the next time was when it truly became official, but it was with someone who was much older and more experienced than I. I remember the day I met this fella…let’s call him “Finesse” (since that was the name on his earring…yeah, you got me, I don’t know either!) Anyways…I was 17…cruising the night with some friends, and we were on the hunt for boys as always…We drove to a local Pizza Hut for a quick bathroom break before we met up with some other friends, when a short, stocky brother with dreads approached me. I was baffled! He was “Cute” and “Grown” and because of my never-ending growth and thickness…he had to assume that I too was an adult. We exchanged numbers…not before he gave me this weird look. I thought he might have had something in his eye or a case of chapped lip, because he just kept licking his lips and squinting his left eye after each sentence…Well, that was then and this is now. I notice a lot of men and women doing this weird gesture with their faces, but today it doesn’t seem weird because I understand it, and it is common. It’s a gesture for enticing the opposite sex…and though there are many different faces amongst us…There will always be one face that’s familiar…The “Sex Face”. That face, those eyes, that give you a hint of sexy, curiosity and allure. So next time someone stops you for a quick convo and your number…Do that pouty, squinty, lick thing with your face to let them know you are interested.

Nafiz Ziyad has been making headlines since her You Tube video has been plastered all over the internet. Captured by another rider the video of the woman’s rant, directed at an elderly MARTA rider, has become an Internet sensation, getting heavy viewing on YouTube.com and other Web video sites.

During the confrontation the young woman refers to herself as “Soulja Girl,” repeatedly uses the N-word and threatens an elderly woman.

After getting tips identifying the young woman as Ziyad, MARTA police charged her with simple assault and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Investigators told WSB-TV Channel 2 reporter Tom Jones they were able to identify the elderly passenger and after speaking with her they arrested Ziyad. Her mother told WSB-TV’s Monica Pearson Ziyad is bipolar and was off her medication when the attack took place.

“I was shocked,” said Ziyad’s mother, Elaine Sabree. Sabree told Pearson her daughter was off her medication because, “She didn’t believe she was bipolar.”

At first other passengers don’t interfere during the minutes-long attack, but finally one man can be heard telling “Soulja Girl” to “chill.” Instead of taking that advice she turns on the other passengers, accusing one of rape.

Eventually a male passenger confronts her and appears to knock her wig askew.

After repeatedly screaming “I’m pressing charges, I’m pressing charges,” the woman exits the train.

After learning of the video MARTA police launched what they called “an immediate and aggressive investigation into the incident.”

“I pray this is a wake up call for her,” said Sabree. “Someone could’ve gotten hurt.”

MARTA officials said they will work with the solicitor general’s office to prosecute Ziyad to the fullest extent of the law.

The elderly woman has been identified as Mary Freeman. Freeman’s son, Richard Freeman, is the head football coach at Morehouse College. He told Pearson his mother doesn’t want to go on camera because she, “doesn’t want to make the girl feel bad.” He said his mother was never angry at the young woman and Freeman knew Ziyad was troubled.

I remember the first time I heard about the R.Kelly sex scandal a few years back. Like others, I was not so shocked, but appalled! For a while there were rumors about R. Kelly and late singer Aaliyah being married when she was only fifteen years old…and a lot of people were in disbelief.

I for one was, until my boyfriend at that time bought the boot-legged tapes downtown and carried them home for me to watch. At first I was unaware of the content in the VHS…until I heard some of that good ol’ R.Kelly crooning in the background…and I almost threw up in my mouth…It was like a car accident you can’t watch, but can’t turn away from.

I remember watching R. Kelly in a red button- down shirt with long sleeves…maybe silk, pantless taking his genitals to an obviously young girls lips and urinating…He was rubbing it around her mouth like lip gloss…she later danced in the nude for him…You can look at this girl and see that she was a baby… and the way she danced was novice! How can anyone be turned on by a child. I saw the tape and a lot of people i know and it is him…he actually had the nerve to play his own music…lol…anyways, I’ve been following up on this case because I hate pedophiles…

Anyways…R.Kelly has been paying people to hush…he offered his own brother whom he isn’t in good terms with, $50,000 a house and a record deal…ARE YOU SERIOUS???? So, you really think someone will take money and a record deal, plus a house to be known as a sex offender for the rest of his life…$50,000 will go quickly…the only people he would be singing for are the inmates, if he lives while incarcerated…because from what I heard, they don’t like that pedophile or rapist mess in the pen…and he has to register forever…be stupid if you want…but he wasn’t…he declined, and offered to take the stand. R.Kelly also allegedly told one of the now women from the video that he will pay $250,000 to keep her mouth shut, but reportedly only paid $25,000…so guess who’s taking the stand now???

Well, in court…the judge ordered the lights to be dimmed and the blind drawn down in order for the jurors to watch the 25 minute long, child porn flick…made by…well anyways…

R.Kelly sat expressionless as the tape played…he was probably getting aroused under his table…14 counts of child porn and 15 years for a few minutes of sex…not worth it…even the sketch artists were warned to not draw any depictions of the acts seen on tape or else they can be charged as well…Yes…it’s that serious! 

Prosecutor Shauna Bolicker warned the jury in opening statements Tuesday that the “vile, disturbing and disgusting” video shows Kelly having sex with an underage girl. Bolicker told jurors they would see the “crime unfold … frame by ugly frame” in the video, which she said was “choreographed, produced, and starring Robert Kelly.”

Defense attorney Sam Adam Jr. countered that even the FBI, “the same people chasing bin Laden … cannot identify Mr. Kelly as being on the tape.”

Shouting at times, Adams told the jury that it is not Kelly on the tape and that the girl was “a paid, professional prostitute.”

On the tape, the man’s face is seen only in profile, but the face of the alleged underage girl is plainly visible. At times she appears bored, and she rarely speaks, except when the man tells her to call him “Daddy.”

After a variety of sex acts including oral sex, masturbation and urination, the video ends with the man appearing to tenderly wipe the girl off with a towel and then hand her some money.

Kelly, 41, is accused of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl who prosecutors maintain was as young as 13 when the tape was made between January 1, 1998, and November 1, 2000. The trial has been delayed by legal maneuvering for nearly six years.

The alleged victim, now 23, denies that she’s the girl in the video. Kelly has denied that he is the man depicted in the tape.

The trial has been delayed repeatedly since the tape was mailed to the Chicago Sun-Times in 2002. The newspaper turned it over to authorities, and Kelly was indicted that year.

The defense asserts that Kelly has a “significant” mole in the middle of his lower back that has been there since childhood. But he said the man on the tape did not have the mole.

“There is no mole on his back,” Adam said. “Robert isn’t that man on the tape.”

Well as you know the Flavor of Love 3 came to an end last week, and this evening was the reunion show. Ice was talking about her purpose on the show and she didn’t think that Flav was attractive…but  now she gets better tips at Hooters! I thought she was a radio personality???? Anyways, a lot of girls were crying…Shy lost a lot of career opportunities due to her performance on the show and the bad breath scandal…lol…but she has been speaking at schools and so forth, Bunz and Seezinz argued with Sinceer who for the first time shed a tear…wow…Tick was in the audience and the original girls…what happened to her besides the nude pic??? Hotlanta spoke about her drinking being innocent, and Myamee’s hair was off the hook in a blonde bob…Why does everyone go on this show raggedy and come back a new girl???Weaves and bodies tight…They did it for the cameras and free makeovers…Well, Thing 2 was reunited with Flav after 6 months and she was excited, but Flavor Flav had other plans with their relationship…He has done three of these shows and plans on stopping it there because he wants what has been in front of him this whole time…Kharma’s mother( his son) and his son is soooo cute too…He proposed to his son’s mother…”Finally” she said…and the rest is history…someone has to make another show…New York…where you at chick???? So the final episode started with breakfast…Flav announced that he had three tickets, with two dreamy locations and one ticket back to L.A. for the girl whom is going home that morning…Thing 2 received a ticket to Paris…Black and Sinceer argued back and forth about who said what and who backstabbed who…Meanwhile, Flav is thinking back to the days of New York, so he decided to send Sinceer back to L.A and take Black with him that day to Monaco…Sinceer had to put her fake two cents in before she left, telling Thing 2 to do her “Thizzle Fo’ Shizzle”???? Who talks like that anymore??? Better yet, were people really saying that??? Anyways, Long story short…He drove around town with Black, fell asleep on her flesh like pillows in the middle of their “romantic” drive, took Black to a destination for dinner, gave her a pink Icetek watch and called it a night to his sleeping quarters. Next day…Flavor Flav and Thing 2 took a bus tour around Paris after getting off of his private jet…he stopped the bus to jump off and give her lots and lots of flowers and then they went dinner, she got a watch too and declined his night cap…Wow!!!! The next evening was the final elimination and Flav made his choice…He had chemistry with Black and a connection with Thing 2…so he chose her! Thing 2 expressed her deep feelings for Flav and how she felt he changed her life…He took her to new heights..traveling and fine dining…That’s so cute!!! That was on on air apology of the infamous  Rush Limbaugh who is old by the way and Curious George has been around since the 40’s…I’m not one for politicians, but I’m definitely not one for racism…There now is a wave of ignorance floating around about this issue and it is sickening that people think this is funny. There is no grown African American man on this earth that would love to be compared to a monkey!!! Now if YOU think this is hilarious, then you need to re-evaluate YOURSELF…

Suge Knight was involved in an alteration at a Los Angeles night spot this weekend, resulting in the  Death Row Records founder getting “Knocked The F*@k Out!!!”

According to TMZ, Knight and a group of men beat an unidentified man at Shag nightclub after the Death Row head and the man got into a heated discussion. Knight and the man were involved in a conversation before witnesses said Knight shouted “I want my money!” 

After Knight and his crew assaulted the man, TMZ reports the man got up from the ground and landed a punch to Knight’s face that resulted in the infamous music mogul hitting the deck. Sources told the gossip Web site Knight was out cold for nearly three minutes. 

Knight and his entourage exited the club amid a minor frenzy. A woman attempted to drive Knight away in an SUV but hit other cars when she both pulled forward and reversed. Security removed the woman from the car and another member of Knight’s posse drove him to the hospital. Okay, now I love me a cute pair of peep toe pumps…In any color, design…you name it, I probably have it…especially if they have it in a size 11!!! Now if they don’t have it in my size, I won’t buy it…and that is what I encourage you ladies with big feet and hammer toes to do!!! I hate when I see chicks walking down the street, first of all wearing cheap shoes, because the heel is leaning and preparing itself for a meltdown…Now back to the matter at hand…The toes are long, and dry, and they are popping out, screaming for a taste of lotion and a Dr. Scholl’s pad to comfort the corn growing on top of the other one sitting on the second toe!!! The shoes are too small sweetie, and I know how heart breaking it is to have a cute shoe that you can’t wear because your feet are too big…I know this pain!!! But at the same time, I do not put myself in even more pain squeezing into a 9 when my foot needs an 11…Be real with yourself ladies!!! I had to accept my big feet…Hey models do, so can I…and so can you…So STOP THE MADNESS…Be comfortable and cute without stretching the leather!!!!

I couldn’t wait until 8 to give you guys the scoop on tonight’s show. It was okay, but not the greatest episode this season. Of course there was arguing! What would Flavor of Love be without it??? Well, we’ll pick up where we left of last season with the three final ladies ( Seezinz, Sincere and Black) flying out to France with Flavor Flav…They get there and of course, France is beautiful…Seezinz couldn’t pass up and argument with Sincere, so of course…she starts to run her mouth about how Sincere was a back stabber by getting Thing 2 kicked off…Ok, enough of that because it is boring…Seezinz has a date with Flav and they end up back in his room for a night cap…well…minutes into their session, Sincere comes knocking at the door for no apparent reason. “I need to talk to you alone…” Don’t they all? Anyways, needless to say, she doesn’t go there to talk, and they end up kissing ALL night long. Now Seezinz is already in her night clothes, hair tied up and about to get in bed, when Black instigates some mess for the first time…She suggest that Seezinz goes to Flav’s room to interrupt like Sincere did, but to her demise…the door never opened…lol…anyways…Sincere comes strolling back in  the early morning hours and the girls are now concerned that their position in the house are being compromised by Sincere’s sexual tactics…Hhhmmmmm…Well, Black wants to know where Sincere slept last night…Duh???? She wasn’t in her bed, she wasn’t in your bed…Well, there is only one bed left, right? Or did she get drunk and pass out in the hallway??? LOL…no, she didn’t, but she passed out in Flav’s bed…Don’t know what they were doing, and don’t care…eeewww…anyways, Sincere doesn’t like being questioned, and like the big circle of predictable behavior, she goes to Flav with a complaint, which in turn has him worried that Black is just like what her ex says she is…PSYCHO!!!! (and like New York…speaking of which…where is she?)…So when it is time for Black’s date, the first question that comes out of her mouth is…”Did you have a good night?”  Flav is burning up, but not too much…he lets her know that he doesn’t like all that checking behind him crap and walks off…Now it is time for Seezinz to have an hour date and Black isn’t having that…she, Seezinz and Sincere march to where Flav is sitting, with a French Teacher for his date with Seezinz, and they all get to arguing…Black thinks she should have an hour with him because she never did…blah, blah, blah, and Flav still goes on his date with Seezinz…now Sincere and Black are in the room together and Sincere starts putting stuff in Black’s head to let Flav know that Seezinz said she was only here for drama and not him…so she is walking to the room while Seezinz is walking out and tells Flav, and he then wants to speak to them both…You know where it goes from here, so I’ll fast forward…Elimination, and Seezinz dress is the cutest by the way, you know she didn’t get that from Rainbow…anyways…Sezzinz…your time is up…Flav want to be with an alcoholic and a girl that is too pretty for him with humungous boobs…The end…well not really…Flav made a call earlier that day to tell Big Rick he needed something done…so that something was Thing 2…he got her a flight to France to fight for her man, and she is back with the cheapest pink dress ever!!!
